Light in Darkness

In the Kyiv constellation of club culture, a new and brightest star is about to ignite. Its name is Lru Proжect. It will become a guiding light for the 'astronauts' of Europe to determine the current trends and directions of the nightlife in Kyiv and Ukraine. On September 9 at midnight, all club observers' telescopes will be aimed at 'Partizan', a countryside complex near Kyiv, where Lru Proжect will host its pilot party – The Show. It all actually starts a bit earlier, at 6 pm, when the Lru Group company will hold its presentation. Don't even try to find information about the company before September 9. Finding out anything about it is like trying to breathe in a vacuum. All details are kept in the strictest confidence by the creators of Lru, so releasing information could have a bombshell effect. The theme of the party, starting right after the presentation, is chosen as 'Black and White'. The complex space will be decorated accordingly. Videographers will complain that the cameras have removed the color and cranked the contrast knob to the maximum. Photographers will feel like they are shooting on black and white film from the good old times. And most importantly, the combination of white light and black color will be absolutely uncompromising – no halftones. What inspired the organizers to make such a decision? A long chess game? A pedestrian crossing? The 'Yin and Yang' sign? The zebra enclosure at the zoo? It's hard to say, but all these images manifest themselves in the design and events of The Show. We won't reveal all the cards because the guests should come and see everything with their own eyes. By the way, can you guess the dress code? Correct – black and white. Actors Andrey and Alexey Chadov, famous athlete Vitaly Klitschko, renowned Russian and Ukrainian fashion designers Alena Akhmadullina, Liliya Pustovit, Andre Tan, Diana Dorozhkina, singer Eva Polna, head of the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee Alexey Kostusev, president of TM 'Khortytsya' Yevgeny Chernyak, chairman of the board of directors of 'Renaissance Capital Bank' Ravnyago Sergey Konstantinovich, Alexander Morozov (Oschadbank), Alexander Kuchmenko (Evrobank), and many others will arrive at the event in luxurious black and white suits and beautiful dresses. So, it doesn't matter what color your skin is – white or black. Which side of the force you are on – dark or light. Whether you like playing chess with white or black pieces. The main thing is for you to be at the main club event of 2006 – The Show party by Lru Proжect.
