Tallinn Music Week: the largest music festival and conference in the Baltic region

Tallinn Music Week is a professional music conference and the largest showcase festival in the Baltic region, existing since 2009. The mission of Tallinn Music Week is to present the music of the region, catalyze international cooperation among industry professionals, and create an international professional meeting place for artists, agents, managers, record labels, publishers, and mass media. In a short time, Tallinn Music Week has become a must-attend event for European industry professionals. Last year, TMW received the award 'Best Newish Event in 2011' at the prestigious festival The Great Escape in the UK, hosting over 147 artists, 7600 visitors, and 423 industry professional delegates. In 2012, Tallinn Music Week will last for 3 days - from March 29 to 31. The music showcase festival will feature 185 young artists from the Baltics, Europe, and Russia, performing at the city's top venues. The range of genres of the announced participants varies from world music and jazz to pop, electro, punk, and heavy rock. Representing Russia this year will be the producer and DJ Alexander Holenko, better known under the alias DZA, and the indie-pop band MOTORAMA. Tallinn Music Week is also an international professional conference, where guests from all over Europe discuss the development of the music business and cultural industries. To participate in the conference as a delegate, you need to register. Participation is paid - 150 euros. In addition to special promo materials and brochures, you will get access to a database of professionals from around the world, who will attend Tallinn Music Week this year, and the opportunity to see all showcases and participate in any seminars that interest you. TMW will kick off on Thursday, March 29, featuring Estonian artists as well as teams from Europe. On Friday and Saturday, March 30-31, there will be seminars and panel discussions in the morning and afternoon, while in the evening, you can watch and listen to performances by invited artists.
