Linda was born in North Carolina, USA. She started her musical career as a 'gospel' singer, then transitioned to jazz, rhythm and blues, and vocal house. In the mid-'90s, Linda moved to Paris, where she performed in clubs, on television, and even starred in movies. She shared the stage with Gloria Gaynor, Al Jarreau, Percy Sledge, Michael Bolton, and Ray Charles. During a European tour, she opened for the artist formerly known as Prince. In France, she had successful studio recordings, featuring on hits by Bob Sinclar, as well as singing backup for Cherron, Ophelie Winter, Priscilla, and many others. Shortly before his passing, Ray Charles recorded a duet with Linda. Linda is one of the most famous American jazz and gospel singers. She leads the group 'Gospel pour 100 Voix.' This year, she participated in the renowned festival in Montreux, Switzerland. Dance music is another bright aspect of Linda's career. She has performed live in over 30 countries. In 2004, she released a record with DJ Dave Storm and continues to collaborate with French house maestro Bob Sinclar. His hits 'The Beat Goes On,' 'I’m not perfect,' and 'Kiss my Eyes' owe much of their success to Linda Lee Hopkins' vocal magic. In the summer of 2004, Bob turned to Linda again to record the soundtrack for the sequel to the film 'Jet Set II' (in Russian release - 'Jet Set'). Of course, the song 'You Could Be My Lover' immediately became a dancefloor hit in France. On April 14th, a Saturday, Linda Lee Hopkins will perform at the club 'Rai.'
