Tecktonik at the 'Dances in August' Festival

On August 15, 2008, the French dance group Tecktonik and DJ Fetish will open the international festival Tanz im August ('Dances in August') in Berlin. Born in 2001 at the Paris club Metropolis, the dance style Tecktronik has since gained worldwide popularity. Tecktronik is a fun, highly energetic, modern style blended with the new rave culture that has taken over all of Europe and is widely discussed in Russia. In the near future, the fifth Tecktronik compilation is being prepared for release, showcasing the skills of the dance ensemble Eklesiasts. These dancers will also participate in the Tanz im August festival. Additionally, the stage will feature styles such as modern ballet, hip-hop dance, experimental performances, and even classical productions.
