Techno Bolero

Bolero, undoubtedly one of the most recognizable compositions of classical music in the 20th century, has undergone remixing. Strangely enough, Crazy Frog has no relation to this. The authorship of this work belongs to two respected figures in the world of electronic music: Carl Craig, who needs no special introduction, and Moritz von Oswald from Basic Channel. The musicians spent a long time 'locked' in their studio alone with the recording of 'Bolero,' performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1987. As German music journals write, 'time was not wasted - a truly unique work of art was brought to light. The combination of classical music and rhythm structure is able to revitalize the melody and make it popular again.' In addition, the musicians took on remixing other classical compositions: Ravel's 'Spanish Rhapsody' and Mussorgsky's suite 'Pictures at an Exhibition.' The whole album 'Re-Composed Vol. 3' will be released on October 17, 2008.
