Techno Festival Save

Every Russian faces a choice in the first weekend of December. While we don't have the ability or desire to influence your political views, we would like to draw your attention to the musical lineup for your weekend. On December 1st, the techno festival Save will take place. This time, Moscow will host the most prominent figures of European minimal-techno: Heartthrob, From Karaoke To Stardom, Kasper & Papol, Matias Kaden, K.atou. Heartthrob, also known as Vivianne Project and Jesse Siminski, will be bringing laptops, samplers, controllers, and his own tracks - a key figure in M_nus rec., Mo's Ferry Prod, and Get Physical Music. Another noteworthy personality, Jeremy Herpe, who goes by the pseudonym From Karaoke To Stardom and releases works under Rregular and Apnea, will also be performing live. FKTS's music combines strict asceticism with rich development, influenced by ultra-minimalists like Alva Noto, Ikeda & Pan Sonic, and club sound experimenters like Plastikman and Akufen. Founders of the leading Spanish techno label Esperanza, whose releases have caught the attention of Ricardo Villalobos, Kasper & Papol, will also be spinning records. The next participant has a huge influence in the intellectual dance music scene. His name is Matias Kaden. Matias's works are released on the exclusive label of Alex Blanca Vakant, alongside artists like Onur Ozer, Tolga Fidan, and Alex Smoke. Also performing is Greek artist Katerina Morstou, aka K.atou. As tradition goes, Moscow techno-punks Easy Changes will take charge of the small dance floor. The festival will be held at the same venue - Gazgolder Gallery. The time is not specified, but judging by past raves, it is likely to run until late, possibly until 9 AM, so conscientious citizens can head straight to the polls to vote after the party. Don't forget to bring your passport.
