The Orb feat. David Gilmour – in New Album Metallic Spheres

This fall, the new album by the English ambient producer Alex Paterson from The Orb called Metallic Spheres will be released. The album is unusual in that it features processed fragments of guitar sketches by David Gilmour, a member of the legendary band Pink Floyd. These recordings were made during a recent studio jam session by Gilmour with producer Youth and mysteriously ended up with Paterson. The result – The Orb featuring David Gilmour – will be available on October 4, 2010.
