Клубные российские · 10.10.2002
Timewriter (Frank Cochois) was born into a family of musicians and initially studied classical music. He began creating music in his own unique style when he was 17.
Frank’s first contribution to German theater arts was for Freies Theater in Frankfurt.
After significant success in theater, in 1995, Timewriter released his first 12-inch disc - "Soul Freak Music". This was followed by several more: "Did My Time", "Smashing Friendship". The album "Letters from the Jester", released in 1997, became a true hit in the dance world and received rave reviews from the press. Muzik Magazine (UK) wrote: "This is true soul of the 21st century."
The second album by The Timewriter - "Jigsaw Pieces", released in May 1998, is house music that creates a specific atmosphere, which is the unique distinguishing feature of The Timewriter. The album "Jigsaw Pieces", which many characterized as Art-House, Tech-House or even mood music, produces sounds that capture you from the very beginning and don’t let go until the end.
Alongside his original works, The Timewriter has created well-received remixes: Yello (Wheels), Paris Red (Love Hurts), Boy George (Generations of Love, Hysteric Ego), AweX (It's our Future) and Kool & the Gang (Always).
