The first days of the new year will give us the opportunity not only to take a break from work, sleep as much as we want, and do whatever we please, but also to enjoy great performances by interesting musicians. For example, Thomas Brinkmann, one of the key figures of the European minimal scene, is coming to Moscow. Legendary techno producer from Cologne, Thomas Brinkmann, is a truly bohemian personality. He is a citizen of the world with a broad art scope, who rubs shoulders with European artist-conceptualists, navigates freely in Stalinist architecture, and surrealism. A close friend and drinking buddy of Andrey Gorokhov – a music critic currently living in Germany. As a techno artist, Brinkmann started by playing records on turntables with two cartridges – the sound was duplicated, the needles gradually approached each other, and the overall effect became absolutely claustrophobic. In his collection, among other things, is a remix of Viktor Tsoi's 'Follow Yourself'. In the history of his label MaxErnst, there are releases that have defined and anticipated the development of the German dance scene. For anyone even slightly interested in club culture, this is an absolute must. January 6, Sunday, starting at 23:59, tickets in advance – 500 rubles, at the door – 600 rubles.
