Dear friends of "Ikra", music lovers, and fans of Roisin Murphy! Just like you, we were shocked by the unfortunate incident at the Moscow concert of the artist. To avoid rumors and speculation, we are providing information on the incident firsthand. Midway through the concert, during the performance of the song "Primitive," the singer accidentally hit a chair on stage while dancing. (The chair was meant for a later performance, part of the show's props set up by Murphy's technicians.) The artist immediately left the stage, with the musicians promising to return in five minutes. Everyone present in the auditorium witnessed this. The injury can be seen in an amateur video circulating on the Internet. Meanwhile, backstage, the artist's and club's management were dealing with a cut on the artist's eyebrow, trying to stop the bleeding. Both the artist and the promoter called for medical assistance, initially hoping to resume the concert, but after 20-25 minutes, the likelihood of continuing became doubtful. The artist's manager went on stage to inform the audience about what had happened and promised to provide precise information based on the medical assessment. The ambulance crew confirmed the cut eyebrow and bleeding, recommending hospitalization. Roisin was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The artist's manager addressed the audience, announcing the cancellation of the concert. Moscow doctors provided Roisin with necessary medical care, and a decision was made to urgently fly the artist to London on the first morning flight, where a specialist doctor worked with her today, October 28.
