The club "Gorod" continues its difficult mission - promoting the ideal dance music - breakbeat (it can all simply be called breaks). Thanks to the efforts of "Gorod", the popularity of breakbeat is growing in Moscow, and people understand that there is no music more danceable than breakbeat. This year, the club will pay special attention to this music, taking it seriously and thoroughly. They have reached an agreement with the breakbeat movement from St. Petersburg, "In beat we trust," to collaborate, set up additional sound, and invite only interesting breakbeat DJs. The first party of this series in November featured a member of the star collective "Breakfastaz" - there were many people, and the dancing continued until morning. The second party will feature one of the brightest representatives of the English breaks scene, Rennie Pilgrem. In addition to Pilgrem himself, our celebrities will perform: Kompass-Vrubel, Kosmonavt, and the leader of the movement "In beat we trust," the St. Petersburg girl Lady Waks. Pilgrem's performance is a logical sequence following the outstanding performance of his good friend and collaborator, Mark Pember aka Meat Katie. Despite the apparent competition between them and their labels, they are very friendly and often host joint parties. It can be confidently said about Pilgrem that he is a veteran of the breaks scene. He recorded tracks with Ellis Dee back in the early 90s, and they had a couple of successful singles (one even made it into the British TOP 40). Together with Altern 8 and The Prodigy, they participated in the formation of the young British breaks scene. In 1993, Pilgrem founded the label TCR solely to release music he likes. The label has always been distinguished by the quality of the music released, and perhaps that's why it has happily survived to this day, still remaining a very authoritative label among breakbeat comrades. We could go on and on describing all the charms and achievements of Rennie, but that's not the point - the main thing is what will happen on the dance floor of the club all night. Pure energy!
