Participants of the Sonar 2007 Festival

From June 14 to 16, the Sonar festival will thunder for the 14th time in Barcelona. This year, the participant list surprises with its diversity, including both well-known musicians and those you may have only heard of in passing. The festival opens with a joint instrumental performance by Beastie Boys and Narod Niki at the Fira Gran Via (M2) nightclub in Barcelona. The next day during Sonar by Night, you can again hear Beastie Boys with their best hits, and for the first time in 17 years, the group Devo will appear on stage. The heavy artillery of British dubstep includes Kode9, Skream, and others. Directly from Paris, the Ed Banger label team including Justice, Uffie, and DJ Medhi comes to the festival. A true rave will be put on by Digitalism, Simian Mobile Disco, and New Young Pony Club. For noise fans, Wolf Eyes and KTL consisting of Steven O'Malley and Pita will conjure. The festival will feature stages SonarVillage, SonarComplex, SonarDome, Sonarama, and the Hall stage; as well as exhibition and promo areas SonarCinema, Conferences and Debates, Sonarama, SonarMatica, and SonarExtra.
