The hero of the next series of Fragment Sessions is a Parisian with Turkish roots named Tolga Fidan, a ward of the Berlin label Vakant. Over the three years of his active career, this musician has many achievements, the main one of which is being included in the band of the techno giant Cocoon. Local boss Sven Vath regularly plays Tolga's tracks in his sets, and also includes them in numerous mixes and compilations. Fidan is a big fan of sound design experiments; his music is woven from elements of various cultures and traditions - from the rhythms of the East to experimental electronics of the end of the last century. Tolga decorates the minimalist rhythm section with ethnic samples and abstract glitch collages.
