Kompakt Parties in Russia

The main music community of Germany is back in Russia. For the second year in a row, signature Kompakt label parties are being held in Stavropol. And this year is no exception, with Moscow being added to the map. The phenomenon of this small but very fashionable label began when Wolfgang Voigt started rumors about the "Cologne sound," the emergence of a new sound that embodied the best directions of techno music, a new rhythm called schaffel. It was a brilliant marketing move, but behind all the PR tricks were truly talented musicians. Today, this sound has become a legend, a brand, a mark, and simply a techno label in the face of Kompakt. Among other things, they own a large record store and are independent distributors of many little-known small labels.
