Full Moon Party in Thailand

Snow has fallen, it's gotten cold, and it's getting rather sad; thoughts of heading to warmer climes to soak up some sunshine, sea, and good vibes are becoming more frequent. If Thailand is the warm destination of choice, aside from all the exotic experiences and various types of massages, the Full Moon Party is a must-try. Every month, thousands of people head to the island of Koh Pha-Ngan, located on the southern coast of Thailand, to celebrate the full moon night on Hat Rin beach. The party kicks off at dusk when the heavy yellow moon disk emerges against the backdrop of the turquoise sea and white sand. Tables are set up, lights are lit, and the beach transforms into a massive dance floor with bars, chill-out zones, and relaxation areas. Techno, house, and of course, trance music fill the air. Throughout the night, the crowd is entertained by numerous jugglers and fire-eaters, and then the night is painted with numerous fireworks.
