Cristiano Spiller (SPILLER) began his musical career at the age of 14, choosing turntables as his musical instrument. “Soul music,” says Spiller, didn’t have the same impact on me as it did on my fellow DJs. I started with such styles as: dance music, jazz-funk and Latin jazz. This music made me move through different rhythms and melodies and further influenced my creativity and playing style.
How DJ Cristiano began performing at the El Souk club (Venice) and thanks to his rapidly growing popularity, he was increasingly invited to the most famous clubs in Italy.
Currently he is a resident of 4 clubs: Glamor (Italy), XS (Italy), House Nation (Italy) and Ambasada Gavioli (Slovenia).
His musical creativity began in 1995, when he began building his own studio. And in 1997 he created the classic composition LAGUNA, which was later released on the Positiva/EMI label and entered the top 30 UK National Charts and top 10 Billboard dance charts in the USA.
His first release gives him worldwide fame and more work in the studio. At this time, he writes remixes for Smoke City 'Numbers', Gloria Gaynor 'Reunion', Matt Bianco featuring Kym Mazelle 'Sunshine Day' and Run DMC 'My Funny Valentine'
The second release is Batucada, a dance version of the Marcos Valle classic, with vocals from Moony, which is successfully released on the Peppermint-Jam label (Germany).
