7th International Festival of Indian Spirituality

The International Festival of Indian Spirituality is one of the oldest festivals in Russia, representing the ancient spiritual culture of this mysterious country. Approximately a thousand people from different cities of Russia and CIS countries, along with foreign guests from India, USA, Mexico, Venezuela, Italy, South Africa, UK, Malaysia, Brazil, Finland, and Turkey, will participate in the 7th International Festival of Indian Spirituality. The festival opens on August 10 at 16:00 at the Cultural Center 'Another World' in St. Petersburg. The program includes theater performances, offerings, mantras, slide shows, meeting with monks from India, bhajans, a performance by Guru Govinda Maharaj, blessings from the Guru for all guests, and, of course, lively dances to magical sets by DJs: List (Moscow) - the Best DJ of 2002, Dj Maggi (St. Petersburg), Dj Samadhi (Shanti S.S. St. Petersburg), Dj HareBaba (Djaganat Moscow), Dj Rasika (St. Petersburg), Dj Sprusmus (ArtFreaction Rec Moscow), and live acts by Dudubeat (St. Petersburg) and Dubsenthe (aka Skang) St. Petersburg. As part of the festival on August 29 at 17:00, a holiday 'Mysterious India in Moscow' will take place in the Hermitage Garden. Creative groups participating in the ETHNOLIFE festival, as well as distributors of ethnic goods and souvenirs, are invited to participate in the event. The purpose of such a festival? The answer is simple: for communication. Over the years of its existence, hundreds of people have been able to get closer to the ancient knowledge of Indian sages, directly communicating with real Gurus and monks in the Vaishnavism tradition. Interest in this culture is not accidental: the wisdom contained in the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India, has long fueled world culture. Great figures of European culture such as Einstein, Tolstoy, and Schopenhauer deeply studied Vedic scriptures and drew inspiration from them in their works. The greatest people, including the artist Nicholas Roerich and the famous Beatles, obeying the mystical allure of this philosophy, turned their gaze towards India and found inspiration there. So, what is the secret of the allure of the knowledge of Indian sages? How can ancient Indian knowledge help modern humans? How to best start acquainting oneself with this knowledge? These questions will be answered at the 7th International Festival of Indian Spirituality.
