We are just a little while away from the grand event, the second party as part of the tribute festival 'Remember Everything' - 'Baikonur' featuring iconic Russian DJs and electronic musicians. The project 'Remember Everything' aims to create an authentic history of this movement. The first event in this series, the rave 'Other', took place on January 13, 2006, gathering around 3,000 people on the dance floor at Gaudi. The extraordinary success of the first party demonstrated the relevance of such 'nostalgic' events, not only reviving the brightest moments of the national club history but also predicting trends for its future development. Throughout 2006, the project 'Remember Everything' plans to hold four conceptual parties, each highlighting a specific layer of dance culture from 1986-2006. The upcoming event, a party for three thousand visitors 'Baikonur', will be held at Gaudi on April 8, 2006. This is an attempt to pay tribute to the heroic raves of the early 90s. One of the participants of 'Baikonur', Volodya Trapeznikov, shared his perception of the event: 'The idea of holding such a party is very good. The previous event on January 13, the rave 'Other', was quite indicative, everything was great! As for 'Baikonur', I think it will be successful. I remember that promoters tried long ago to recreate the history of the club movement on the dance floor. There were a series of Flash Back parties, unfortunately I don't remember the promoter, one party took place at Shambala, and another on Bolshaya Dmitrovka. There was indeed an atmosphere corresponding to that time. On April 8 at Gaudi, the organizers will try to recreate exactly what was in the 90s. I will play some old techno music, mainly depending on the time I will play. But there will definitely be a couple of tracks that people love and remember from the 90s.'
