The Return of D-Pulse

As usual, on the last Thursday of the month, a Space It Out session will take place at Shanti. This time, the protagonists of the event will be the techno quartet D-Pulse from Izhevsk. The guys had a very productive last year: a joint concert with SCSI-9, the release of the Euphoria EP record on the Pro-Tez label, a stunning performance at the Stereoleto festival, and tours in distant Japan.

At the beginning of 2008, the group secluded themselves in their hometown of Izhevsk. Drawing inspiration from the noise of the surrounding forests mixing with the hum of underground factories, D-Pulse worked on their new album. Just before the beginning of summer, the inventors of a unique sound will present their new concert program for the first time.

On the evening before the concert, you can listen to the D-Pulse group on the airwaves of the 'Megapolis' radio, where they will be guests on Slava Finista's show 'Kruzhat'sya Diski.'

You can listen to the recording of D-Pulse's performance in the 'Breathe Deeper' podcast 'here'. In addition to the evening party residents Andriesh and Cross, two guests from Berlin performing DJ sets under the pseudonym Grand Plie will also appear.

Grand Plie is a DJ duo of two Berlin girls. Apart from eclectic sets on the alternative dance floor of the Trezor club, the duo is known for their fondness for shiny outfits from the Turkish market and colorful wigs. But their true love and muse are their native Kreuzberg, the best district of Berlin.
