Remember All - 3: The Beach
История · 17.06.2006
The promo group 'Znaki,' the trademarks Red Devil and Sauza, the radio station 'DFM,' the magazine 'Ne Spat!' and the project 44100Hz [www.44100.com] present the third event of the 'Remember All' tribute festival - the beach open-air event 'The Beach' featuring iconic Russian DJs and electronic musicians. The year 2006 is the anniversary year for Russian dance culture. Twenty years ago, in winter 1986, the 'Disco Workshop' was formed, uniting various sound systems in Moscow. In parallel, in St. Petersburg, private parties were held at the famous squat on Fontanka, introducing Russia to the new sound of British acid house. This date marked the starting point for the modern dance movement. The 'Remember All' project aims to create an authentic history of this movement, including publishing memoirs of participants in the 'Ne Spat!' magazine, creating a special website 44100.com/history, an original program by DJ Fonar 'Znaki' on 'Dinamit FM' radio and launching a series of albums on the label 'Pravitel'stvo Zvuka / World Club Music.' The project also includes organizing a series of reunion parties in Moscow clubs and independent venues. In 2006, the project plans to hold four conceptual parties, each highlighting a specific aspect of dance culture from 1986-2006. The first events of the series, parties 'Inoi' and 'Baikonur,' successfully took place at 'Gaudi' in January and April 2006, attracting 3,000 people to the dance floor of the capital's largest club. The next event of the tribute festival will be held as a beach open-air event. For the organizers, the promo group 'Znaki,' and the musicians participating in the project, 'The Beach' party is a nostalgic tribute to the 'Russian Ibiza,' showcasing the history of Russian clubbers, promoters, and DJs on this dancing island. Russians started visiting Ibiza in the mid-90s, with Moscow and St. Petersburg clubbers discovering this dancing paradise where parties never stop. In 1999, the full-scale 'Russian landing' of Club XIII took place on Ibiza, hosting a series of signature parties. Sets by Grado, Kolya, Sanchez, Fonar, and Groover at the famous El Divino and The Privilege opened the 'Russian seasons' on Ibiza, making a trip to the White Island a must for thousands of Russian clubbers. The Beach open-air event will feature famous Russian house DJs, the pioneers of the 'Russian Ibiza' scene: Grado, Kolya, Sanchez, Odzho, Shmel, Sukhov, Bell, Sapunov, Jungle, Andrey 'Triplex' Ivanov, Landers, Spirit, and Dak. The unique location chosen for this open-air event is the sailing club 'Vodnik,' located seven kilometers from Moscow on the picturesque shore of the Klyazminskoye Reservoir. It's an ideal place for summer relaxation, with a hotel complex, a private yacht marina, a heated swimming pool, volleyball and mini-football fields, and a bowling alley. For the convenience of the audience, special shuttle buses will run every half hour from 'Belorusskaya' to 'Vodnik.' On June 25, there will be two dance floors at 'Vodnik' - the 'Pool' with positive house music and the experimental 'Tent' with music from residents of the Housemusic.ru community. On June 24, in the night from Saturday to Sunday, the Red Devil Boat with 150 VIP passengers, featuring DJs Tina Charles and Spirit on board, will embark on a journey from the Northern River Station to the final destination at the sailing club 'Vodnik.' Thus, the guests of the Red Devil Boat will spend a day with the 'Remember All' project. Two more events are planned for autumn 2006: scheduled for September 22 and November 17.
