The first compilation of the Thinking Out Loud series (Nascent label) was released in 2004, and now, two years later, the second installment has been released. This time, the compilation was prepared and mixed by the rising talented DJ and producer James Talk. As a producer, James has worked with Audiofly and Pete Tong, has done remixes for Kilowatt and Adrift labels. As a DJ, he is a resident at Curfew Time parties (King Unique) at the London club Turnmills, and has a long list of performances at top clubs worldwide (Ministry Of Sound / London, Ageha / Tokyo, Apriori / Moscow, Furry Music / Oslo, Miami WMC / Miami USA, and more). Esteemed colleagues such as Wally Lopez, Danny Howells, Meat Katie entrust him with remixing their compositions... James started his career at the age of 14 when he bought his first turntables. A native of Southampton (UK), James Talk, at only 23, has already earned praise from dance floor veterans. The year 2006 was pivotal for James - three heavyweight DJs (Nic Fanciulli, Sander Kleinenberg, and Fergie) chose his name as the 'rising star' in response to a survey by DJ Magazine. And the Nascent label offered him to mix for the Thinking Out Loud series. James Talk's rendition of the Thinking Out Loud compilation impresses with magnificent sound, an unconventional approach to mixing and track selection. In the compilation, you will discover tracks performed by Jesse Rose, Trevor Lovey (a member of the very 'hot' Switch project), Buick Project's remix of the vibrant song 'Insatiable' by Mark Knight featuring the legendary Katherine Ellis, Onionz, Streetlife, and James's own compositions - 'Mine & His EP,' 'House Rhythm,' and his remix of Beta Blokka.
