Wunderkinds Modul

Modul is a Krasnodar electronic project formed in 2003. The collective consists of 3 people: Evgeny Shchukin - Vega, Evgeny Fomin, Alexander Tochilkin. Since 2003, the project has been creating electronic music of various styles - from experimental "home electronics" to dance compositions in different variations. After a series of live IDM performances in city clubs, the first releases of "head music" came out on the German net label Phonocake.org and the Canadian Nishi. The track included in the anniversary compilation Nishi #100 (Photon And 3 Heavy Bosons) was immediately noted in the Symbiosis archive on Triple R FM.

By 2005, a dance live performance was developed, with which the collective began to perform actively in clubs. Alongside this, work was ongoing on the album Cutting Edge, which was later released on the largest Russian net label dedicated to experimental sound, Electrosound.ru. The album was very well received by listeners and music critics, after which a series of releases followed on various net labels, including a deep techno release Passed (EP) on the German No-Response.org, which made it into compilations from many DJs working in this genre (Eric B - Abrection 3, In Vitro - Musique Avant Garde, Marvid - Freie Liebe, Monika - Sunset House, Panks - Entladung, Choplin - Netlabels Mix 12.06, etc.).

Improving live technologies and utilizing a large number of self-developed instruments, the collective has been performing more often in various clubs and in the fall of 2006 made a tour across Germany.

By 2007, a large number of releases and events in which the project participated had accumulated (performances, radio appearances, winning RBMA 2007, etc.). The collective actively collaborates with many projects (Clapan (Information Ghetto), B-Voice&Khz, Eric Bernal, etc.), labels (Fragment, Dars Records, Phonocake, Electrosound, Nishi, No-Response, etc.) and organizations (Deepmix.ru, Discotime.ru, multimedia center Rhythm-South, etc.).

A live performance by Modul will take place on September 20 at 21:00 in Shanti during the Fragment Session XVII party, where DJs: Meshkov, Anrilov and video: Killahertz will also perform.
