Surf Design Exhibition "Art on Foam"

From September 6 to 9, 2007, Quiksilver presents a unique surf design exhibition "Art on Foam" in Moscow at the Vinezavod exhibition space.

Twenty-two representatives of visual arts from around the world, known for their involvement in the world of surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding, used their creative ideas to present this exhibition using surfboards, which takes place from June 1 to October 25, 2007, throughout Europe following a touring session in Australia and China.

In addition to presenting these works in Moscow, the exhibition will take on a more interesting interactive continuation.

On September 6, at the event dedicated to the exhibition opening at the Vinezavod, alongside the international exhibition, specially invited young Russian artists, sculptors, and graffiti artists will use surfboards as material to embody their creative ideas during the event itself. A special space and all the necessary tools for creating optimal work for artists and the opportunity to observe the process will be organized for invited guests.

To fully feel the incredible freedom of the ocean, the creative and bright ideas of the artists, a reggae bar with excellent sound from DJs Flammable Beats will be constructed, creating a unique atmosphere of great combination of contemporary art and surfing.

The after-party of the exhibition opening will take place at the "Solyanka" club (Solyanka, 11) as part of the Mystic Nights party with the participation of Dj Mystic Bo, Black Dillinger, Dj's Pirumov, CHagin.

Admission to the exhibition is free.
Admission to the after-party at the "Solyanka" club is free with an invitation to the exhibition opening (in the form of a surfboard).
