Disco Chronicle

One of the Internet websites dedicated to the history of dance music is now selling a book titled Disco Files 1973-1978, which chronicles the popular direction in the specified years. The 484-page book describes the life of the New York underground, provides original reviews of the main musical recordings, photographs, weekly newspaper reports on club events, articles, and about 800 charts. The author of the book is Vince Aletti - the first person to mention disco in his note for Rolling Stone magazine in 1973 and later leading a column on the new dance direction in Record World.
