Exhilarating Gui Boratto

Very soon on the German label Kompakt, the second full-fledged album of the most famous representative of Brazilian techno Gui Boratto will be released under the title Take My Breath Away. The album will include 11 new tracks, showcasing various facets of Boratto's talent as an electronic musician. Over the past few months, the yet-to-be-released Take My Breath Away has sparked much discussion among colleagues and fans of Gui. Much of this is due to the musician's previous work Chromophobia, recorded on the same Kompakt label in 2007. The album was warmly received by critics, and now Boratto is expected to release something at least as emotional and melodious as Chromophobia. The official release date of Take My Breath Away is March 23, 2009.
