And now, on the eve of the 15th anniversary of the Kazantip Era, after analyzing the sparsely worded messages from Mars received at the Republican Center for Observing Parallel Worlds, a historic decision was made: it was time to move forward. The brightest minds of the Government, supported by faith in Miracles, engaged in lengthy brainstorming, trying to solve the problem of transporting a significant number of chosen settlers to the territory of the first Martian colony. And a solution was found! It's the Mars Lift - not a new, but quite feasible idea.Despite the technical details being kept secret, we managed to obtain some information. Considering the colossal distance of 227 million kilometers, it can confidently be stated that this is impossible with any existing earthly technologies; however, the Government confidently asserts that the opening of the First Martian Colony will take place on July 30th!What prompted the guardians of the Republic to take this step? The rapid development of the project and, as a result, some overpopulation of the Z territory led to dissatisfaction among the indigenous population, displays of chauvinism, and a desire to close the borders. The voice of the earthly press is loud and clear: Kazantip is no longer the same, the President got what he wanted and took back all promises, the Government only thinks of itself. In these difficult conditions, the Ministers and the President proposed their own solution. The Martian colony - an attempt to rectify the catastrophic consequences of overpopulation that severely impacted the Republican Happiness-Extracting industry. The main goal of the massive budget expenditures to implement the idea is to achieve the maximum concentration of positive psycho-kinetic energy in a particular location, sheltered from the eyes of outsiders, as well as unwelcome or overly intrusive guests. The Government's initiative was supported by the Kazantip people. It was decided not to impose quotas and restrictions at the border, but to send the finalists who passed the selection to the long-prepared platform - to Mars. Periodically, the lift stops, and through the built-in video terminal, the President informs passengers of the need to shed ballast, identify stowaways, check passengers for compliance with the dress code, or simply take a break - have refreshing drinks and consume health-promoting pills.Recently, it has become known that the Lift reached Martian orbit, where it was stopped by the Martian patrol for inspection and clarification of the purpose of arrival. No one was prepared for bureaucratic hurdles at the Martian border (everyone was counting on a 'green corridor'). The President took the blow upon himself and managed to negotiate mind control instead of humiliating personal inspections. Each passenger was assigned a personal file with the number '-20'. The Martians did not explain their math. In order to get the negotiations out of a deadlock and to complete the planned activities by the Republic Z's Birthday, President Nikita the First agreed to such strange, illogically explained conditions.
