Zeppelin presents: Saint Petersburg. FortDance 2003
Клубные российские · 25.07.2003
On July 26, 2003, on Saturday, the 4th FORTDANCE festival will take place. The concept of this year will be fundamentally different from the previous years. This is due to the fact that the popularity of the Forts has grown to the point where Fort Alexander I cannot remain the sole venue due to limited capacity. The organizers - club 'Zeppelin' - also feel the need to change the positioning of the festival and significantly improve the program. This year, for the first time, the main arena will open at Fort Constantine with a capacity of up to 30,000 people, featuring high-quality 500-kilowatt sound, top-notch laser and video shows, and bar system. Entrance to the main arena will start at 3:00 PM, and the musical program of the festival and the operation of bars will begin from this time. At the same time, Fort Alexander I venue becomes a VIP arena, tickets for which will only be available through pre-sale. The pier for boarding the ships heading to Fort Alexander will also be separated from the main arena to avoid uncontrolled situations. The interval in ship movements this year will be no more than 10-15 minutes. An exclusive guarded parking area will be organized for VIP ticket holders. Over the three years of holding the FORTDANCE festival, it rightfully acquired the image of a cult event of the two capitals, and during this time, Zeppelin club became the only (!) Russian club listed in the international directory 'Best Nightclubs and Bars' published in London. In connection with this, the organizers decided that the line-up of artists this year will consist mainly of top-level stars included in 'dj's top 100'. In addition to the employees of Zeppelin club and Zeppelin production company, Russian and foreign specialists in organizing such events were involved in organizing this year's festival, including Mr. David Fowler, who heads the representation of the FORTDANCE festival in the UK. Mr. Fowler is also known as the organizer of PR campaigns for Perfecto Records, Platipus Records, special projects of MTV Dance UK, Ministry of Sound Media, and many others. Among his awards are two platinum discs from the British Phonographic Industry BPI - for the PR of Moby's album 'Play' and ATB's single '9 PM (Till I Come)'. His participation will allow for a more dynamic and effective coverage of the event preparation, the festival itself, and also attract consultants from the organizers of the largest world raves. The international booking for the festival is handled by Yuri Marychev, who successfully headed the management of the PPK group for over two years. Schedule as of June 30, 2003. The current schedule may be subject to changes and additions. Official website www.fortdance.com
