Winter Music Conference in Sochi 2007

From February 8th to 10th, the Winter Music Conference SWMC-2007 will be held in Sochi – the most important event of the year in the electronic music and club business industry. SWMC-2007 will gather over 500 participants from cities in Russia and neighboring countries where current electronic music and club culture are actively promoted.

The Winter Music Conference in Sochi SWMC-2007 will be a unique venue for establishing business and partnership relationships among professionals and experts in the club industry, providing a real opportunity to make new contacts, discover creative ideas, and connect directly with creators and performers of music in various electronic genres.

The broad vision of the organizers will be realized through a consciously chosen Conference format, combining daytime business program sessions with informal communication areas and club parties that will span several club venues in Sochi.

The business program of SWMC-2007 will take place on February 9th and 10th at several locations: the well-equipped Panorama business center, conference rooms of the Radisson SAS Park Hotel, and the reading room of the Pushkin Library. SMWC-2007 guests can expect over 13 academic hours of market reviews, presentations, round tables, and discussions on current topics in the club and music industry.

Additionally, the organizers have chosen a special space on the top floor of the Radisson SAS Park Hotel, equipped with Wi-Fi access, which will serve as a convenient area for media presentations and informal communication among all Conference participants.

The nighttime program of SWMC-2007 will take place on February 8th, 9th, and 10th, covering multiple nightclubs in Sochi, where leading figures of the Russian electronic scene will perform – specially invited DJs such as Almazov (Bobina), Agent Smith, Grad, Kiriloff, Pimenov, Tina Charles, Fonar, Arkady Air, Bell, Jungle, Fish, Mike Spirit, Shushukin, SPY.Der, and Swanky Tunes.

The Winter Music Conference is being held for the second time. In 2006, over 300 participants gathered at the forum in Sochi. This year, more than 500 club and music business professionals from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Rostov, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Tallinn, Minsk, Kyiv, and other cities in Russia and the CIS, where club culture is actively promoted, are expected to attend.

The successful experience of the 2006 conference allows for high interest from participants and the public, while empowering organizers to make every effort to provide the best conditions for participant interaction. The organizers anticipate that the event will be a landmark in the rapidly developing sector of the Russian show business industry and will make a significant contribution to the development of Russia's music and club industry.
