Live Performance by Juno Reactor & Amampondo

Coma Sound System proudly presents the only performance of the famous international project, the authors of hits like Congo Fury and soundtracks for the movies 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico' and 'The Matrix,' an unforgettable live performance by Juno Reactor & Amampondo. Interestingly, Juno Reactor was not initially conceived as purely a musical project, rather it was a creative group of free underground artists, designers, and composers, which eventually evolved into a musical entity. At the time of its formation, the group consisted of four individuals: Ben Watkins, Jans Waldenback, Mike MacGuire, and Stef Holweck. Juno Reactor signed their first contract with the English label Novamute in early 1993. Their very first single, 'Higher Energy Protons,' compelled everyone to listen to it again at least once. Shortly after, in 1993 on Novamute, their album 'Transmissions' was released, which is a classic example of the deep, powerful sound that Juno Reactor is renowned for to this day. This LP laid the foundation for modern trance music worldwide, from England to Goa. Contrary to popular belief, Juno Reactor is not the name of a single project, but two different yet equally talented collectives: Juno Reactor & Amampondo. While working on 'Bible of Dreams,' Juno Reactor had the fortune of encountering the group of traditional South African drummers, Amampondo (Nelson Mandela's favorite group). Musically, the Africans proved to be more than advanced, which, among other things, led to the creation of the acclaimed track 'Conga Fury.' The composition was co-written by Juno Reactor with one of the drummers, Mabi Thobejana, who excelled at playing the conga. The track was released as a single and enjoyed great success. Additionally, this unique event will feature performances by artists such as Hyper Sonic – Phonokol Rec., Transdriver - Live, G-Light!, Neosferix project – Live, Zirrex – Live, Intrancer – Dj Set, Quendy – Dj Set in the main lineup. The Chill Out stage will host Unix – Live, Inner Voice – Live, Xtrim – Live, Quad – Dj Set, Psyfish – Dj Set, Kelt – Live, Masala – Live. Creating the atmosphere of a comfortable celebration will be: 70 kW of voluminous sound, themed fluorodesign, laser show, affordable bar, guarded parking lot, polite security, and a magical vibe! On July 8, Saturday, from 23:00 to 8:00, at the address: metro station Paveletskaya, Letnikovskaya Street, 11/10, 'Forum Hall.'
