Spirit Catcher's Live Performance at ElectroChic Party

Another ElectroChic party by You Art Group will prove that Belgium also has unique talents capable of enriching any well-established concept of numerous clubs around the world with their music and remixes. Jean Vanesse and Thomas Sohet have been immersed in music for as long as their conscious life lasts, with Jean practically being born in his father's studio. In his infancy, his not so childish loud cry prevented his dad from working properly, leaving him no choice but to take the offspring to the studio, where he miraculously calmed down. Such a beginning of life deeply influenced the psychological development of the child, and it seems that a lifetime of music was destined by fate. Thomas, on the other hand, was born in a typical Belgian maternity hospital and grew up in a normal environment, except for one factor. The baby was most attracted to his mother's piano, specifically the keys: black, white, black, white. This affected mini-Thomas's psyche, so when he first saw a synthesizer with the same keys, an inner voice told him, 'One beautiful day you will find the right combination and become Free!' So he began the search, playing in various funk bands until he met his future partner - Jean Vanesse. Together, they entered the studio, bought various equipment, and started searching for the 'Formula.' Thanks to such a birth story of the Spirit Catcher duo, today they are recognized as one of the most interesting house projects, whose works are released on top underground labels such as Freerange, Silver Network, Missive, Kanzleramt, Music Man, Unlimited, F-Communications, and others. You can hear them not only in dance clubs but also at major jazz festivals, as Spirit Catcher is associated with the concept of 'future disco.'
