Live Performance by Swat-Squad at the ElectroChic Party

Oliver Henarés was born in Barcelona in 1979. From a young age, listening to old records, he was captivated by various music genres, including funk, pop, rock, acid house, and hip-hop. He was particularly inspired by electronic music, and under the pseudonym Swat-Squad, Oliver and his brother Ruben began organizing various exhibitions, performances, and parties with electronic music, accompanied by colorful 3D designs. In 1998, Oliver began to perform as a DJ in clubs in his city, playing electro, house, and techno. Striving for maximum musical expression, in 2000, he began creating electronic music himself. At that time, Swat-Squad focused on composing music and DJing, but did not stop there, and in 2001, Oliver presented his live performance in a minimal style to the public. In 2003, Swat-Squad created their own label PulseWith Records not only to promote their own music but also as a platform for the most progressive musicians, such as Maetrik (USA), Jeff Bennett (SE), John Tejada (USA), Jaumtic (SPA), Pheek (CAN), Paul Keeley (CAN), Reynold (FRA), Mark Henning (UK), and Alecs Marta (SPA). In January 2004, Oliver Swat-Squad released his first release on the label PulseWith Records called "Show me the way," which also included tracks by musicians Maetrik (Treibstoff) and Jaumtic (Regular), and PulseWith Records immediately announced itself as a notable and interesting Spanish label, combining house and techno in a unique minimalist manner. In addition to the success of PulseWith Records, this year was exceptionally productive for Swat-Squad; his records were released on Frankie Records, Traum, Trapez, Regular, Morris Audio, City Sport, Trenton, Software, Fat32, Thinner, and others. Oliver's activities are welcomed all over the world, and the result of this is performances throughout Europe (Berlin, Cologne, Barcelona, Mallorca, London, Riga, Edinburgh) and in the United States (Minneapolis).
