What are their plans for today? As always - to save the world! They are the superhero duo of Michael Mayer and Superpitcher (Aksel Schaufler), working on their conceptual project. 'Supermayer Save the World' promises to surpass the previous 'Tommy' in every way, from themes to heroes, presentation, and illustrations by Kat Menschik in the CD booklets. Musically, the two supermen decided to expand their palette, bringing diversity to electronic music with accompaniment from trumpets, saxophones, acoustic guitars, flutes, and even gongs. The album, consisting of 13 tracks, promises to deviate from the signature mute techno of Kompakt label artists, incorporating the sound of eccentric indie pop, especially revealed in tracks 'The Art of Letting Go', 'Us and Them'. Even more unusual are the experiments with lounge sounds, such as on 'Cocktails For You', amidst ambient interludes. 'It will give you a smile from ear to ear throughout the listening from start to finish', critics unanimously agree. If you need feel-good music - Sypermayer will save you too!
