The Government of Sound company and the restaurant holding Dolce Vita group present the release of the third part of the series "Шелк mixed by Mike Spirit." Now legendary, this series invariably attracts the interest of oriental downtempo enthusiasts and simply fans of good music. In March 2003, the first legal compilations of house and lounge music in Russia saw the light - "Москва-Roma" by DJ Mixmaker, "Москва-Berlin" by DJ Berg, and "Шелк" by Mike Spirit. A project popular worldwide - reflecting the unique musical policy of a club, restaurant, or even hotel on a compact disc with the help of well-known DJs - began in Russia. Examples of such projects include the legendary compilations Cafe del Mar, Buddha Bar, Blue Note, Hotel Costes, Superclub, etc. In Russia, the first such project was made by the Dolce Vita group and Universal music Russia. In April 2004, the project was continued with the compilation "Afterhours Sessions" by Москва-Berlin (mixed by DJ Feel), also released in collaboration with Universal music Russia. All four compilations received high praise from music critics both in Russia and in Europe and America. In March 2005, the creative team of Dolce Vita group, together with the Government of Sound company, began preparing six new compilations of house and lounge music from popular cafes and restaurants Ketama, Москва-Berlin, Москва-Roma, and Шелк. In working on these compilations, the team collaborated with such well-known labels as Blue Flame, Deeplay music, Om records, Electrolux, Pokerflat, Dessous, NRK, Greenheart, and many others. In autumn 2006, Dolce Vita group and the Government of Sound continue their collaboration and present the third part of the "Шелк" series in a compilation by one of the best DJs in Russia, a regular participant of the Kazantip and Fortdance festivals - Mike Spirit. For the third time, Mike appears in an unusual role for him – a downtempo set, eliciting a strong response from music critics. Шелк has already carved out a niche for itself as the domestic Cafe del Mar and Buddha Bar simultaneously and with each installment is winning more and more fans. Successfully combining beautiful Balearic music in the best traditions of the island of Ibiza with Eastern melodies and songs by artists such as Nelly Furtado, J Viewz, Gare du Nord or Luke – Шелк has undoubtedly become a true discovery in the Russian music market. The long-awaited third installment will finally see the light in mid-September. It can be confidently stated that Шелк vol.3 will delight its fans and help gain new followers.
