Carl Cox is famous primarily for playing the happiest techno in the world. Techno is usually seen as dark, hard, and quite fast music; however, there are people for whom techno is something else. It is endless fun, drums, a feeling of revelry and wildness in the best sense of the word. An example of such a perspective on life is a young man named Kai Wiggins, a DJ, musician, and responsible for the activities of several labels. But even despite his own labels, he has a very close relationship with the Techment Records label, which specializes in exactly the type of cheerful techno.

In its few years of existence, the label has accumulated a solid back catalog of wonderful, truly dance music, making it possible to create an unconventional, incredibly danceable, and interesting mix. Kai Wiggins was entrusted with bringing the idea to life, as he is sensitive, agile, and very charismatic. For his first DJ mix on CD, 19 of the best and most danceable techno tracks from the brightest representatives of the label were selected. But, aside from all the above, especially for this release, the label made an unheard decision – to reveal its cards and showcase a whole bunch of new names that can confidently be said to be the new seedlings still going to spark a fire for the current techno kings! Consequently, the exclusively Russian edition will feature two discs with music that no one has heard anywhere else except the founding fathers of the label.
