DJ Lex began mixing records over 20 years ago! Back then, these were regular parties in one of the Podolsk schools, simply because it was something new, simply because he was drawn to music, and he did not think about popularity at that time. He was always interested in the dance floor's reaction, for example, to non-hits at that time by Patrick Cowley, Cerrone, Telex, blended into the evening's theme. It was then that he understood that you can only acquire your own style by trusting your intuition – making hits out of what others have not yet 'heard' and not playing the well-known tracks. Since 2000, DJ Lex has been a resident at Soufflé and Infinity, and since 2002 he has continuously worked at Courvoisier-cafe, while creating the atmosphere of the start of the club night at the Zeppelin restaurant on Fridays. In 2005, he became the art director at the same Courvoisier. And for those who do not visit the listed venues, he is remembered for the buzz-generating parties Gatecrasher, Fortdance 5, Anti Glamour, Halloween2004-2005. Until now, only some of his mixes were available under the Zeppelin Pro label; now, all the best and new from DJ Lex can be purchased in a double gift digipack from Diamond Records. The disc is based on two different moods. The first is vocal House, a style generally considered glamorous, a style that currently embodies the format of most nightclubs in Moscow. The second, with a harder sound, is played in the Tribal House style, with a mood of speed.
