Sweet Tears

One of the most important and oldest groups in the domestic lounge scene. Founded in 1994, the group became a true cultural boom of the electronic scene in Russia. Their first album was released on the iconic label of that time, Pork Recordings, and the project immediately ranked alongside global lounge celebrities Baby Mammoth and Q-Burns Abstract Message, who made remixes of Tetris tracks. The group's tracks were among the first from Russia to be included in the cult compilation Cafe Del Mar and, as a result, began to be released on lounge compilations around the world. Their compositions also caught the attention of the legendary label Mole Listening Pearls, which brought the world projects like De-phazz and Younderboy. The long-awaited album Sweet Tears is the second numbered work of the group and represents the best tracks of the project recorded over the last 7 years. The return of the founding fathers of the lounge scene can be called spectacular—the album received the highest ratings from Russian and European music critics.
