Cafe Moscow-Rome is a stylish, cozy establishment that has held the position of one of the most cult places in the capital for over a year. In such a short time, the cafe has hosted legendary easy listening musicians such as The Dining Rooms, Luciano Cantone, Nick Weston, Don Carlos, Fragment Orchestra, and others. The cafe's visitors are stylish young people, connoisseurs of comfort with a developed taste in music. The concept of the establishment is relaxation with taste in the style of bossa-jazz-latino-easy listening. The compilation has exactly this "casual" taste, easy listening, characteristic of the establishment itself. Mainly background-oriented, such music is aimed at creating a pleasant atmosphere conducive to communication and relaxation. Therefore, the inclusion of the best representatives of bossa nova, lounge with elements of Latin and jazz in this compilation was a well-considered choice. The mixing of these styles should create a cocktail of everything stylish, refined, and sophisticated that has been done in modern music over the past twenty to thirty years. By selecting the compositions in this way, we wanted to convey the atmosphere of ease and lightness that reigns in the cafe Moscow-Rome. Among the artists included in the tracklist of this compilation, there are real stars who do not need special introductions, such as the magnificent Sergio Mendez with his group Brasil 66, Walter Wanderley, as well as no less well-known among lovers of Brazilian jazz, samba and bossa nova performers like Marcos Valle, a talented Brazilian musician writing music in the style of jazz-pop/obscuro and the legendary Kenyon Hopkins, who became the musical director of Paramount Pictures in the seventies. The compilation also features the best easy listening artists of recent years - the Italian project Montefiori Cocktail, consisting of two talented twin brothers Federico and Francesco, as well as an original remix of their composition "Sofisticata", made by the legend of the Italian lounge scene - musician Nicola Conte. It is also worth noting stars of easy listening/lounge music - The Easy Access Orchestra, who entered the compilation with their hit "The Sicilian."
