The Masters Series part 9

The Renaissance label has launched many different series throughout its long and tumultuous life, but the most important and main is considered the 'Master Series', and if any DJ releases a mix in this series, it speaks of their status and the trust that the label has in them. The Japanese subject, who nevertheless hops between the USA and Japan, Satoshi Tomiie has long been a favorite. He began working with house legend Frankie Knuckles (resulting in the classic house track 'Tears'), then threw himself into all sorts of adventures - began actively immersing himself in the American house scene, met David Morales, and entered the family of his label Def Mix, and later transferred everything he learned back to his native Japan, where he is regarded as one of the founders of the local club scene. He then released a wonderful album 'Full Lick', which was enthusiastically received by music critics and the dancing public. But the wave of popular acclaim hit Tomiie at the moment when his mix in the 'NuBreed' series was released on the Global Underground label, and the artist launched his own label Saw Recordings, which quickly became one of the leading labels in the world progressive house scene. This is Tomiie's second work released on Renaissance. The first was a mix in the '3-D' series, which was received quite warmly in club circles. Now it's time for the celebrated Japanese figure to stand alongside John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish, in a word, with those who have already made their mark in the 'Masters Series'. The music here is done precisely and in the spirit of the latest musical trends - electric rhythms, tech-house, minimalist rhythms of German manufacture, but all this is seasoned with a solid dose of melodicism, human soul, and warmth. Thus, Tomiie demonstrates his professionalism, and in the top DJ league, one more name has been added.
