1200 Micrograms

The project 1200 Micrograms was founded by Raja Ram in 1999. Tip World Records established a long-term relationship with GMS, and Raja Ram wanted to form something like a "supergroup" consisting of Bansi and Riktam from GMS, as well as his long-time friend and colleague - Chicago. Chicago has provided significant support to the label since its inception in terms of DJing and music writing, and has continuously helped Raja Ram over the years. Raja Ram was eager to assemble these musicians in the studio to create a new exciting sound for Tip World Records. Thus, "1200 Mic’s" was born. The project formed in the summer of '99 at the 'Triball studio's' in Ibiza. A bottle of liquor and a huge amount of smoking accompanied the writing of the group's first track. Aside from the tested fun, the result was a super powerful sound, intelligent, modern - a dancefloor bomb... In general, the musicians focused not on perfecting the bass but on penetrating the very essence and energy of the music to bring the crowd into a frenzy. It is now a widely recognized fact that their creativity has a global scale, and their numerous performances are constantly improving, finding incredible responses from the audience. The only problem for them remains finding time to get into the studio.
