Jody Wisternoff is a member of the Way Out West project, young but established as a veteran of UK progressive. His impressive career has lasted for 14 years, during which Jody has achieved commercial success, and critics admire him as a talented producer, remixer, and DJ. It all began in the late 80s when the legendary Bristol duo Smith and Mighty opened their little studio for two small kids, who later formed the Tru Funk Posse project (Jody and his brother Sam). Their first four works were recorded using an old computer, a MIDI keyboard, and a tape recorder. After sleepless nights in the studio, their first record, Break the Beat, released on the Three Stripe label, immediately made it to Westwood's playlist and paved their way into the world of electronic music!!! In the early 90s, he started playing at free parties like Universe and World Dance. There he met and collaborated with DJ Die and wrote a joint release, 4 A.M., which had a hard hardcore and melodic jungle style, and this record caught the attention of Nick Warren. Thus the Way Out West project was born. Their first single was Ajare, which became a club hit number 1 in England. Three years later, this work was remade and made it to dance charts worldwide, gaining public recognition. The next record was The Gift. This record brought them success, and the single Wow entered the UK Dance chart and took top positions, while Nick Warren became a famous DJ and legendary producer. Their subsequent two albums, Blue and Intensify, brought them global success and remain in the hearts of clubbers to this day.
