Alexander Ivanov (Alexander Daf) is a young and talented musician from St. Petersburg, one of the most interesting sound producers in the domestic chillout/downtempo scene, and is an integral part of the promo group Sun Station.
At 22 years old, Alexander has already released records on labels such as Sutemos (Lithuania), Elpa (Latvia), Sentimony Records (Ukraine), Laverna (Italy), Pitch Music (Russia), and many others. In 2008, Alexander Daf signed a contract for album release with System Recordings - the largest American record company, whose artists include global electronic music stars such as James Holden, Miss Kittin, Josh Wink, John Digweed, Sasha, Christopher Lawrence, Dieselboy, Adam F, D:Fuse, and others.
A Thousand Reasons to Be is a mature, quality work woven from ten small masterpieces. Each track is a beautiful story with its own mood, atmosphere, and unique sound.
