Pavel Polyakov (Copycat Project) casually explores electronic music as entertainment and hobby. He defines his style as space pop—dance rhythms merged with the cold breath of the cosmos, celebrating the beauty of space. When British electronic legends Gentle People heard his work, they praised him: "You are supremely talented. Keep on with the great work!" GP featured his tracks at Big Chill festival's 10th anniversary (2004) and their leader invited him to collaborate on vocals. Polyakov now produces tracks for their upcoming album. His music draws from the cold, austere beauty of the Baltic region and the deep energies of Lake Baikal, where he lived before moving to Moscow. Working as a music editor, electronic equipment consultant, and contributor to Rambler TV, he accumulated life impressions that crystallized into his debut album "My Secret Space Love"—11 tracks of light, cosmic, mysterious yet ironic music designed to remind listeners of beauty and let them feel the chill of the cosmos.
