Daze Maxim

Born in Poland and raised in Germany, Daze Maxim began learning the DJ craft at the tender age of 12 on an old-fashioned Amiga. Soon he mastered his first synthesizer. This marked not only the beginning of his insatiable passion for music, but also the start of a promising career. The precocious kid started DJing at age 15 while cultivating his love for jazz, and later enriched his creative arsenal through saxophone and self-study of composition and 20th-century music theory. With such a rare and multifaceted background, Daze released his first record in 1995. This and the two subsequent releases attracted widespread attention. In 1998, he reached new heights by founding Serial Killers Haircut with Oliver Bondzio, created remixes for Hardfloor, Justin Berkovi, and others, and released his debut album in 2000. His creative path then shifted sharply when he took up the microphone. His "rebirth" came in 2005, with critics praising his latest album as sensual, genuinely emotional, and deeply revealing.
