Chronos Project

Chronos is a driving trip-trance and downbeat rhythms, organically combined with ethnicity and live shamanic khomus, it embodies deep emotions, reflective melancholy of deep foundations and explosive energy of sequences, merging into a single holistic flow of perception. Sacred philosophy and the wisdom of the ages balance on the same wave as the technologies and concepts of the 21st century, leading us to the project’s slogan - "Music Chronos - Awakening Consciousness".
The word "Chronos" translates from Greek as "Time." As an eternal engine, it is a symbol of our evolution.
The project is not only musical but also contains a graphic semantic load. Filling each sound, each shade of the tracks with feelings and emotions, the authors manifest their interests in ufology, mysticism, paranormal phenomena, Eastern culture, and esotericism.
The founder and driving force of the project is Nik Klimenko (aka dj Shankar). In mid-2007, Dmitry Neshchadim (aka C.J.Catalizer) joins Nik.
The artists begin to collaborate on the project's second album in two independent studios. Experimenting with instruments such as Access Virus Ti Polar, Korg Microx, TC Electronic powercore, and recording live Eastern timbres, the project gains new breath and its unique deep sound of the fusion of cosmic vibrations and our inner self.
Chronos music is broadcasted on television ("Screen 5" in Moscow), on numerous radio shows (for example, "Signs" by Volodya Fonary, Bulgarian radio - www.radio.powernet.bg, where the album was officially presented), and played by DJs around the world (Greece, Macedonia, Israel, Canada, Germany, Turkey, America).
Upcoming releases include the compilation Ajana rec., Kumharas vol.6, Second Chronos Album (Ajana rec.).
