The KLF project became one of the most innovative projects of the 90s, blurring the boundaries between pop dance techno music and laying the foundation for a new style. KLF records went platinum in 77 countries, and their singles such as 3 AM eternal, what time is love?, last train to trancentral, justified & ancient & the church of the KLF made it to the top tens worldwide – and topped the charts in many European countries. Their music always outpaced its time, and largely thanks to this, their songs can still be heard on the radio and in nightclubs. The producers of the KLF project - Bill Drummond and Jim Cauty - never performed, although they appeared in the band's early music videos. Accordingly, all the hardships of touring life fell on the shoulders of the voice and face of the group - the erotic, exotic, hypnotic, and sensual Wanda Dee. Wanda Dee was born in Harlem and grew up in the Bronx; from an early age, her favorite pastime was listening to records and singing along with the songs she heard. Wanda Dee began her professional music career as a DJ! She became the first female DJ to play hip-hop, thereby meeting Grandmaster Flash. After recognizing Wanda's vocal talents, he helped her secure an audition with Harry Belafonte, who immediately invited her to perform in his now-classic musical Beat Street. During 15 years of KLF’s music popularity, Wanda Dee has given over two thousand concerts in more than 90 countries, 150 cities on all six continents. Wanda says about herself: I managed to avoid addiction to drugs, alcohol, and tobacco in the cruel world around us. Throughout my career, my name has not been involved in any scandal. I look at the world positively – and I try to avoid stress in show business, where people more important than me get eaten for breakfast. I have managed to keep my marriage and faith in God for over 20 years. During her performances, Wanda Dee not only performs KLF's hits that have become classics of the dance genre but also compositions from her new solo album The goddess is here!. Her show features 7 costume changes, 4 muscular Hip Hop/Jazz dancers, and MC Shadow (known as Eric Floyd, dancer Jerome from the TV show Fame). Those who have seen Wanda Dee's show compare her stage presence to that of a young Tina Turner, Shadé, and Janet Jackson – all in one!
