Lavender is a pop duo of sophisticated wealthy kids Phil Good and Fred Kolesnikov. They held their first concerts under the mentorship of Evgeny Grishkovets, performing to applause from oligarchs. This was followed by private parties at millionaires' daughters' homes and among their circle of friends. Today, every self-respecting rich boy who divides his time between university in London and his parents' mansion on Rublyovka has Lavender's debut album on his player—released in collaboration with Leonid Burlakov. Models flock to their concerts to dance to their hit song "Models." Marc Almond himself was shocked by the abundance of beautiful women at one of their New Year's performances. Originally planned as a one-song project to be sold for $100,000 and then closed, the unexpected success of their debut show inspired the guys to record a full album that instantly became a cult classic among Fred Perry, Nike Dunk, and Turbo gum enthusiasts. Phil GOOD and Fred Kolesnikov are currently preparing their second album.
