Mark Henning

Mark Henning is a London-based connoisseur of underground sound and established figure among prestigious labels. Half German yet rooted in London—until recently, when he relocated to Berlin, though spiritually he'd been heading there for years. His debut came via legendary British label Soma Recordings in 2008. The prolific artist released 9 singles in 2009, each resonating with fellow artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Akufen, Steve Bug, and Loco Dice, plus devoted dancers. After intensive studio work, he pivoted to live performance, earning a DJ Mag 'Breakthrough of the Year' nomination. His sound hovers between house and techno, rooted in solid groove, deep texturing, funky sensibility, and controlled chaos—everything needed to set dancers moving intricately for hours. Regulars at London's Fabric, Berlin's Bar 25, Panorama Bar, Watergate, and Munich's Harry Klein know it well.
