Midiots

The MIDIOTS project originated in Moscow and has existed for several years. It features two well-known Moscow DJs, Vasily B-voice and Dmitry Feelgood. Vasily B-voice was born in Moscow in 1978. At the age of 18, Vasily became a full-fledged resident of club Moscow and soon a successful DJ. Later, on the radio "Stantsiya", Vasily created his own program "Lessons of Minimalism". As a DJ, he was a resident of the legendary "Gallery" and performed in the best Moscow clubs. Dima Feelgood was born in Novokuznetsk in 1966. Since the age of 13, he has been interested in various styles of contemporary dance music. In the late 80s, Dmitry began working as a DJ. In 1992, he, together with his friend, founded the electronic group "Sibir" and arrived in Moscow in 1998. Here, after meeting like-minded Vasily B-voice, the project Da Pop emerged. The project crafted remixes for popular Russian musicians, and only when the duo began writing their own music did it acquire the name MIDIOTS. Soon, the MIDIOTS project, together with SCSI-9, recorded demo material for the German company NATIVE INSTRUMENTS for their program NI TRAKTOR 2. This was followed by the release of two singles on major German labels Treibstoff and Dumb-Unit. After a while, material was gathered for a full live performance.
