One ordinary day several years ago, Andrea Sartori and Phooka started a musical project called Homework, which subsequently united the vibrant creative forces of the modern Italian electronic scene - Touane, Shaduz, and Alexander Stone, as well as laying the foundation for the namesake music festival.
In 2002, Andrea seriously began creating music. Focusing on arrangements and rhythms that ironically utilize the expressive power of electronic music, he produces piano-synth sequences and programs drum grooves using an unprecedentedly original technique. As a result, Andrea created his own musical style - "stilus fantasticus," reminiscent of a funky musical cocktail from the seventies, the non-stylized soundtracks to video games and cartoons, and Italian "musica leggera" (easy listening music).
To date, Andrea Sartori's concert schedule, with his debut album Il Tagliacode just released on Persona Records, is generously filled with performance dates at national and international clubs and festivals, where his "live" shows consistently create a sensation.
