O.N.I.

O.n.i. is a group of like-minded individuals who engage in simultaneous sound extraction from various instruments. The palette of compositions created by the orchestra is colored by different musical cultures: from archaic, ritual sounds of primitive musical instruments to sounds born from modern electronic devices, from timbres that resonated in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries to contemporary ones. The foundation of each performance is improvisation, primarily based on the mood of the musicians - on how their day went, how they feel. Since this is a live collective, the musicians can tune into a good mood and convey it to their listeners. There is a name for the musical direction that the orchestra is developing - it is called debris music. Debris is space junk in NASA's military terminology. If one flies a certain distance from Earth, one can hear sound waves created by our civilization. O.n.i. gathers and uses this sound trash.
